The GAOA has passed both the House and the Senate, and now we look forward to the President’s signature to enact it into law. This act of bipartisanship proves that public lands and waters have the power to unite us. It’s a historic day for conservation. Thanks to everyone who called, texted, emailed and showed up in Washington D.C. over the last TEN YEARS to advocate for the full, permanent funding of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and thanks to our elected officials who put politics aside to protect wild places.
