There have been times in my life where what I look like has been used and taken advantage of by others. There have been times where I was not connected to my femininity and my womanhood. I have been hesitant to post these photos because I am finally at a place where I really love my body and everything it has done for me through these incredible 31 years of life. My body is not perfect and my body changes throughout the month. It is a flowing space to move and create. I am happy here and that’s all that matters to me now. Over the weekend I realized that these bodies and these lives we live are just shells, and that the universal feelings we experience during our life on Earth are and have been moving through the universe for far longer than I have been here and will continue to move through the universe far after I am gone. Now the question is why? Why was I given this shell, this body, this life? And how can I be of service to the greater flow beyond my ego? There is so much more than our minds can comprehend and sometimes it’s good to remind ourselves that our bodies and egos are temporal.
