As Buckingham Palace releases two new images of #PrincessBeatrice in her vintage wedding dress by #NormanHartnell, British Vogue revisits the unique story of Hartnell’s relationship with Queen Elizabeth. #NormanHartnell famously designed the Queen’s wedding gown for her marriage to the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947 and the embellished taffeta gown Princess Beatrice wore with slight alterations - including the organza puff sleeves - the Queen originally wore at the State Opening of Parliament in 1967.
