ブレット・ラトナーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ブレット・ラトナーInstagram)「It’s going on my fifth month in quarantine and as I go through my photos I realize how much gratitude I have for this amazing life G-d has given me. Not only because of my beautiful family and blessings to be able to follow my dreams and true passion making films but more so for the friends I have gained.... After being locked in my house and thinking about this life with its triumphs and tragedies, joys and sorrows, intense love and unimagined grief I know I will never be taking any of it for granted. I also realize that the world has changed and as optimistic as I am as a person I think life as we know it will be different for a lot of us. This is why I decided to publish a few books on various subjects. One of them will be my memoir which will probably take me two years to write, another will be a sequel to my @Hilhavenlodge Photobooth book and the third will be photos of awesome people I have been lucky enough to be around and photograph. These images are some of those moments and memories. They are not just famous people but friends, acquaintances, filmmakers, artists, models, writers, doctors, gangsters, photographers, tennis players, comedians, a few presidents, and of course my family including my omnipresent grandma that has been on this journey with me from the beginning. I think I’m going to call it “Awesome People Hanging Out Together” The real inspiration for this book is a quote from the Brothers Karamazov: "There is nothing higher and stronger and more wholesome and good for life in the future than some good memory, especially a memory of childhood, of home. People talk to you a great deal about your education, but some good, sacred memory preserved from childhood, is perhaps the best education. If a man carries many such memories with him into life, he is safe to the end of his days, and if only one good memory remains, in our hearts, even that may sometime be the means of saving us."」7月14日 16時44分 - brettrat
