The reason why this book comes before the first book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy” for me is not because it’s the better book, but because when we used to have a broadcast design studio at 83 Canal st, I went to the floor shared bathroom, and someone had left a battered paperback copy of this book there, and I started reading it and couldn’t stop reading but also realized that I was in the middle of the story. (This is the first one with “her” story.) so I went to the book store that day and bought the first book, and the series became my favorite books for my young mind. So this one guided me into the galaxy first.
