Usually a cotton ikat weave kimono hiked up shorter to not spoil it and a red apron and arm and leg covers (not pictured) as well as a tenugui towel wrapped around their head. My husbands relatives grow green tea in Saitama and I had the chance to finally help harvesting. Sayama tea is not as well known as it doesn’t do heavy PR like Shizuoka and Kyoto - however the whole region is growing tea 🍵 My Patrons will receive a small tea package if all goes well 🥰 So excited! 狭山茶はご存知ですか？静岡や京都みたいに広告などしてないけど、埼玉県の狭山市はお茶畑ばかりよ🌱 初めてお茶積みの体験ができて、合わせてお茶娘の格好してみた☺️💦 昔も皆さんは絣の着物で作業したことがあって、赤いエプロンでめでたい気持ちにした。着物を汚さないように短く着たり、腕や足をカバーで守って、頭に手拭いを巻きましたね。私はブーツで行ってみたけどw エプロンは1日前の夜中に縫ってみた😝 ぜひ狭山茶も飲んでみてください。新茶を積んで来たばかりなので美味しいよ！🍵🥰 #mainichikimono #salztokyo」7月9日 23時12分
