As we rounded the corner she finally noticed the waterfall. Her eyes widened and she smiled from ear to ear.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As we walked closer, she extended her arm and began to reach out for the waterfall. It’s size and the loud sound of the cascading water made it seem so close to her that she could touch it.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When I saw her reach out for the waterfall, it reminded me of when I am experiencing stressful or anxious moments in my life. I can literally feel the pull of nature. It’s as if there are elements within me and elements within it that create a magnetic pull to direct me toward healing when I need it most.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This was only the second time that I had been in the outdoors beyond my own yard since the pandemic began to change many aspect of our everyday lives and since the recent uprising began.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It served as a moment to lay my burdens down by the riverside."⁣⁣ 📸: @twestry」7月7日 2時09分
