クエストラブさんのインスタグラム写真 - (クエストラブInstagram)「side one: That time we were pitched a play in which the pitcher sent me to see a play in which I met another guy who was over the top ecstatic and mentioned an email and pitched about joining the production of the play which weirded me out cause I’m like (to myself “your guy already pitched me yesterday and he brought me these tix! Duh! I’m down”) which then a week later I’m sure the original pitcher guy was head scratching that I’m congratulating him on a job well done on a play I don’t know isn’t his (I’m captain loud & wrong) so he passively tries to steer me back with “well yeah, I just wanted you guys to get inspiration from a buzz play about to happen and get ideas for OUR PLAY” & I’m like yeah I got inspiration and ideas....(to myself— “from your play that I saw last week”) only to have that fly over my head ——and now I’m on a conference call w 9 people telling them “yeah I met with (original pitcher) last week and we discussed ideas” Silence. & cause it’s me and some of y’all have seen Ahmir’s Greatest Hits: Pie In Face version throughout the years but none this epic. Now my manager is panic texting me (yeah I’m ignoring it) and before I totally lose the bag he calls “dude what are you doing? You keep mentioning the other play to the @hamiltonmusical people...they have NOTHING to do with each other, it’s separate plays!!!” Oh....😐 Now I’m trine walk it backwards like #IMeantToDoThat (I imagine they were roasting me on the Hamilchat thread trying to find out why am I calling Lin another person’s name not on production) —-thats not the weird part: world famous for never checking texts/DMs/emails I look for the email that Lin mentioned his reps sent to me & man....wow. Knowing me like I know me? “A broadway filtered hip hop retelling of the nations forefathers creating the constitution?!! .....yeah right PASS!!!!!!!!!! This coulda been my most disastrous faux pass. Before you dismiss something (be it people, someone’ s culture, art, music, or the highest grossing play of all time) you better read the labels first.
