This is big: Fedex - which holds the naming rights for the team’s stadium - has formally asked owner Dan Snyder to change the name. Nike has also removed the team’s merchandise from their website. Earlier today, AdWeek reported that Nike, FedEx and PepsiCo each received letters signed by 87 investment firms and shareholders worth a combined $620 billion asking the companies to sever ties with the team unless they changed the name.
