"On calm nights, the pools always provide great reflections," photographer Beth Mancuso shares her experience while at Sherburne #NationalWildlifeRefuge in #Minnesota. "They're also great for wildlife sightings. We often see many wading birds, muskrats, and turtles enjoying the pools." The majority of the refuge lies within the St. Francis River watershed, and the river itself winds though refuge lands, providing a corridor of excellent riparian habitat for wildlife.
