Guess what... because of these comments I looked at myself in the mirror and I would speak down to myself, I doubted myself, and I looked at myself in a negative way. I allowed the comments of complete strangers or people who didn’t even know ME affect how I thought about myself. I felt so inadequate. Then one day the universe showed it’s self to me. I took them personally. As time went on, and I practiced more SELF LOVE—their words became just that–– WORDS. I made a promise to myself to no longer take negative words about me as a bullet trying to find it’s way to my heart. Instead, I simply dodge them. See the thing is, people who strive to make you feel less than you are, generally don’t feel too great about themselves. They want to lower your self confidence right down to theirs, so you can go through life as miserable as them. It’s important to remember that we need to avoid these people like the plague (social media comments and all.) Turn the other cheek. They are completely toxic. The next time you’re caught listening to what others say TELL YOURSELF, I’m done letting anyone make me question my self worth. I’m tired of not feeling good enough, when I KNOW that I am. Life is full of wonderful things and wonderful people and I refuse to not acknowledge that just because some don’t. And next time you catch YOURSELF with a negative thought, pause for a moment. Ask yourself whether you have any basis, whether you’re being kind or not, and whether what you’re saying is something you need to know. If none of those things are true, feel free to see yourself out! Challenge yourself on the things you say TO YOURSELF and remind yourself that no matter what you do or don’t do, YOU ARE WORTHY AND VALUABLE all the same!」7月2日 1時50分 - paigehathaway

SHE HAS NO SHAPE.... SHE LOOKS MANLY.

I took these photos before we went into quarantine (over 4 months ago) Written on my body are two comments that Ive seen over and over again on my Instagram since the beginning of my social media.

I saw a quote that said “TAKE CARE OF YOUR THOUGHTS WHEN YOU’RE ALONE” I thought to myself — The sole reason these comments tore me down is simply because I let them. I let these comments get to me.

Challenge yourself on the things you say TO YOURSELF and remind yourself that no matter what you do or don’t do, YOU ARE WORTHY AND VALUABLE all the same!
