Nearly 400,000 viewers tuned in to watch it on livestream. The March was entirely organized by hundreds of people (volunteers) who came together to make history. No corporate sponsors and their heteronormative demands, no NYPD permits, no floats with cops & politicians waving at crowds. Pride was definitely NOT canceled this year.
