#OSmoodboard First impression? If you squint you might see an E-type, but what you actually have here is a @toyota. Meet the 2000GT, a limited-production, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-seat, hardtop coupé grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha and first displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1965. Yamaha originally did the design for Nissan, but they turned it down. Toyota lapped it up. Only 351 were produced, sold for $6,800 a pop at the time (you won't get much change from $1m were you to find one at auction these days). It made an appearance in the 1967 Bond flick, 'You Only Live Twice', but in a topless version to accommodate Sean Connery's 6'2" frame. Daniel Craig voted it his favourite Bond car of all time. .
