Design should be aspirational, inspirational and attainable. Colette Shelton aka Coco from @cococozy here taking over @Design Milk for the #sharethemicnow initiative which is amplifying the voices of Black women.

Now is the moment to rewrite the story. Whenever I design anything, I imagine a story. The stories usually take years to build in my mind. We have some immediate change that needs to happen right now in terms of racial justice and systemic racism towards Black people. Once we tackle fixing the major crack in our nation’s foundation (systemic racism) and get it straight, we have years to build the new story.
