But we called and we emailed and we rallied and we said NO INVESTIGATE HIS DEATH. Then in Victorville, California another Black man was found hanging from a tree, a computer cord tied around his neck. Then in Spring, Texas a Black teenager was found hanging from a tree. Then a Hispanic man was found hanging from a tree in Houston. Then in New York City, in a Manhattan park, another Black man was found hanging from a tree. This weekend, @bubbawallace, the only Black full-time driver on @nascar’s top circuit, and leader of the charge to ban the Confederate flag from races, found a noose hanging in his Talladega Superspeedway garage stall. So if it’s lynchmob they want, who are we to deny them? Except let us, the ones who want justice, lead the mob. Let’s hunt the people who killed those men and threatened Bubba. Find them. Bring them to justice. Do not let anyone get away with this. If you are not mad inside your bones ask yourself why? Why aren’t you mad that Black men are being lynched and intimated with threats of death in the year 2020? Because you should be mad. You should be really, really, really mad. And if you’re not mad, it’s time to get mad. Don’t ignore what is happening. As we push, they will push back, trying to scare us.
