Engrained, systemic and subconscious racism is each and every one of our responsibilities to recognise, to ensure behaviours are changed and changed forever. It won’t happen overnight, or in a day, in a week but every tiny or big thing each and every one of us does, challenging, calling out and putting time in to educate is a step closer to changing behaviour. It’s what you do, it’s action that will force change. Education, empathy and support is what we’ve been talking about at Orelia. The ways in which we are making change at Orelia are: 🖤 Education, look out for book suggestions, book giveaways and podcasts we would like to share. 🖤 Representation, within our imagery, our feed and influencers we work with, we will be more inclusive and diverse. 🖤 Support, we support and donate to local and national charities, we will include charities that support antiracist charities and support workers that facilitate change.
