Some of us are outraged, some of us are grieving, and many of us are learning and listening. There are so many layers. How will we demand justice with longevity? What can we do in our industry to help reallocate our funding to resources that benefit the black community? How do we continue to educate ourselves and unify? How to live, and breathe anti-racism and actively apply it. And to honor our pledge as an ally every day, not just when it's a news topic. To be there for our brothers and sisters. To mobilize people to vote. This is an extremely challenging time for everyone’s mental health and I just want to acknowledge it and let you know it's okay to refuel. To reset. I’m with you. To my fellow allies around the world - This fight is for the long haul and we need all of the strength and endurance we can muster to protect one another and build a better system that represents us all. We need your mental strength and longevity. We are fighting for too many innocent Black lives that should’ve never been lost. We are fighting for our future. I am taking time to process it all and put that knowledge into productive actions. Vote. Protest. Volunteer. Educate. Practice. Learn. We need all avenues that lead to justice.
