I am committed to ensuring the business that I lead follows the principles of the Black Lives Matter movement. When I first moved from Nottingham to London in the Sixties it was the vibrancy of the diverse community in Notting Hill that inspired me to start a life and career in the city which has become my home. In the decades since, I have strived to be representative of my diverse customer base, the countries I have had the privilege of travelling to and the whole host of people and friends who inspire me. As long as I am at the helm of this company I make a firm commitment to this remaining so. But we can do better. In order to do this, we will listen closely to the feedback of our customers and staff worldwide without whom we would not be here today. We will review our hiring process and the diversity of our workforce. Subject to what we learn, we will improve our practices as soon as possible. We will conduct an assessment of all photoshoots to ensure we are representative in all that we do in front of and behind the camera. When my Foundation launches later this year, a key part of our efforts will be to nurture and engage young people from the black community who are looking to find opportunities in the creative industries.
