Lucan is not an actual wolf, he is a wolf-dog, which means he has part domesticated dog DNA and part wolf DNA. Like the Russian domesticated foxes, Lucan will be able to educate people about the conservation needs of wolves thru interactive educational programs. . We just brought this boy into our pack today and he will be adjusting to his new pack as we begin his socialization. First stop is to the vet to make sure he is healthy and has all his shots!! But he is a very sweet boy and we hope he makes an amazing Ambassador and brings love and joy to so many!! . I want to personally and formally thank one of our Board members, a Roxanne for helping us in the emergency we were faced with today in bringing this boy to the center!! I truly believe when you put the right energy in the world and you are true in heart and soul with helping, the right people enter your life to help carry that torch.... 🙏 . Trainer Melissa will be meeting him tomorrow.... and we will slowly be introducing him to our volunteers..... .
