Doug The Pug’s mission is to spread love, happiness, and togetherness. He stands proudly with the #BlackLivesMatter movement and we are actively listening, learning, donating, and amplifying the voices and resources of the Black community.

At the core of Doug’s heart is to make people smile and inspire inclusivity, so we are dedicated to using this platform to speak up against racism and promote equality.

We have been receiving many comments telling us to “stay out of politics” and want to be clear that this is a human rights issue. To the “all lives matter” comments - all lives do matter, which is why the Black community needs us to listen and put all of our resources into creating systemic change that is long overdue.

Dogs can teach us a beautiful example of how to love one another, protect one another, and help those in need. I know that if Doug had thumbs, he would be proudly typing this all out himself.
