But I can’t deny that there has been a wearying and uneasy process of trying to change their skewered perspectives, from screaming at them in my teens to shut up every time they dropped a generalised stereotyping remark to what became a resigned “I can’t talk to you about this anymore.  Let’s just eat.” - This letter created by the website www.lettersforblacklives.com @lettersforbl and is in MANY different languages addressing immigrant family scenarios, was really poignant to me even if it was written in 2016 - Most of the points still stand.
