Here’s what I know. God is artistic & creative, and He doesn’t make mistakes. From His box of colorful crayons, He created each of us. He put love, thought, time, passion, purpose, plans, and breath into each & every one of our lives. So in this moment, where we collectively see injustice towards the black & brown crayons of God’s creations, I think all the crayons in the box should stick together like wax to support the crayons that are constantly being broken in pieces. Together in our joined strength & efforts we can lift them up to the top, instead of allowing them to be daily pushed down! Black Lives Matter to me, as I love & respect that God made each & every one of their lives with the same time & intent in which He made mine. As a fellow crayon, I want them to live a life as the vibrant & beautiful creations they were made to be! After all, they are equally a part of God’s big picture of life, in which it’s up to you to choose how you use your crayon to color in your part! With my crayon I choose to color in & create a picture of love, acceptance, honor & respect while including & supporting all the colors around me! That’s my $.02! Though here’s one more penny for your thoughts, if you’re a crayon that has nothing nice to say - please take your scribbles elsewhere. This post is strictly to honor, love and respect the crayons who deserve our compassion, understanding and immediate attention to a life of unfair injustice.
