Brooklyn and Baileyさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Brooklyn and BaileyInstagram)「We have spent the last couple of days as a family discussing a very real subject. We have spent time agonizing and crying over how to say and express what we feel and experience. These are our siblings. Daxton, our 12-year-old brother with autism, and Paisley our 9-year-old sister. While we will NEVER understand for ourselves what the black community suffers, we do see it first hand everyday. We have received side eyes at the store or seen our siblings experience discrimination. It has been a real fear of not only ours, but our parents, of the dangers they do and will face as they get older. We have spent countless hours discussing ways we can help take down racism in our nation, but we can’t do it alone. For the sake of our black brother, to make him feel like people will take the time to understand his situation (he “stims” due to his autism which could easily be seen as “shady” or “guilty”) before jumping to conclusions. For our sister, who got in trouble in class for wearing “unnatural” braids in her hair. Please help us make them feel SAFE in their future. Please help us speak out peacefully and fight for what is right. We stand with you. #georgefloyd #icantbreathe」6月1日 4時30分 - brooklynandbailey
