The best subject you have is one that’s in front of your face. Or maybe just your own face, if that’s what you have to work with. I recently got a small LED panel that I can use as a constant hot shoe mounted light source, but it’s also full RGB light. I was shooting with my Nikon Z 7 and AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR with the Mount Adapter FTZ. It’s funny, I took one photo with the red like this and reviewing it on my phone, I wasn’t really feeling it. I turned the light to 5600k after that. But after the shoot, it’s one of the images that stood out to me most. Here, I’m lit by a skylight in the room and the LED is lighting up the wall behind me.
