#repost @daviddownton ADVENTURES WITH PHILIP AND LINDA. In 2004, I was commissioned to draw the supermodel’s supermodel @リンダ・エヴァンジェリスタ for the Telegraph magazine. A banner job for me. The sitting was set for the Hotel George V in Paris. On my way to Linda’s suite, I bumped into @フィリップトレーシー who was staying at the hotel with Grace Jones. That’s just the way things happened, Then. ‘Would Linda like to be drawn in a hat?’ I’d find out. She would, and she straight away understood the graphic possibilities of this twisted Dr Seuss top hat as a cover image. She can, I discovered, ‘edit’ herself for the page. The following year, I had another sitting with Linda at Philip’s Battersea headquarters where I made this drawing of her with his beloved dog, Mr Pig. Happy birthday Philip, for yesterday.🖤
