ムーミンの生みの親、トーベ・ヤンソンさんはフィンランドの芸術一家に生まれた。幼い頃から物語を考えるのが大好きで、学校の行き帰りにそういった時間を費やしていたそう。

毎日新聞の”なつかしい一冊”というコーナーに、彗星がやってきて地球が滅びてしまうことをなんとか止めようとしてムーミンが「おさびし山」へ旅をする冒険物語『ムーミン谷の彗星』を紹介しました。

This photo was the Moomin exhibition at the Kanazawa 21 century museum last fall.
The author, Tove Marika Jansson was bone in the artistic family. When she was young, she liked to think of the stories, which it spends time on going way and way back from the school.
