jan and naomiは2012年結成後デュオとして活動開始。洗練されたメロディアスなサウンド、そして繊細で耽美的なその世界観は、70年代ポストパンク、90年代シューゲイザーや00年代初期のインディーロックを彷彿させる。2014年に1stシングル『A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man/time』のリリースを皮切りに、本格的な活動をスタート。2016年にはフジロックフェスティバルに出演。ファッションショー、教会、アートスペースなどでライブを行い、国内のみならず、アジア圏でのツアーを成功させるなど、彼らの音楽に寄り添う独自のパフォーマンスを切り開いている。2020年5月20日、janとnaomiがそれぞれプロデュースをしたアルバム『YES』と『Neutrino』を同時発売する。⁠

Solo project of naomi from jan and naomi. ⁠
jan and naomi formed as a duo in 2012. Their refined melodious sound and their delicate, aesthetic worldview resembles that of 70s post-punk, 90s shoegazer, and indie rock of the early 2000s. They began their full-scale career in 2014 with the release of A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man/time. Performing at fashion shows, churches, art spaces, and touring not only domestically but throughout Asia, they show their unique performances along with their music. On May 20th of 2020, they simultaneously released the albums Yes and Neutrino which they each produced. ⁠
