Where would we be going? Transporting everyone, they were always emotional and about an interesting and innovative space. They weren’t just a fashion show, but a forward way to show the clothes. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ Collection 1 2019 was a monolithic stark white set on the South Street Seaport Pier rooftop, with views of the city surrounding and literally over the water. The weather was iffy and rained all day, but it held out for the show. The wind was blowing and strangely cool, adding to the surreal atmosphere. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ SS16 was the epic 10 year anniversary with an amazing video installation during the show. Afterwards, the space opened up to an over-the-top after party set up like a nightclub with strippers, and a stage with performances that would change throughout the night. Whatever the show, Alex always wants a fun night for everyone. A night to remember.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ The FW14 show was interesting because it marked a turning point of people going outside Manhattan for shows. Alex knew it was a risk, but one that was important to do. Brooklyn has always been a vital part of the city so having shows there, or in other boroughs made sense. Now it’s commonplace, but that was pivotal shift in thinking of the city as a whole. To show how some of the clothes could change color according to temperature, the finale was on a giant turntable that moved under heat lamps, rotating and changing the clothes’ colors as the girls moved by.”– Stefan Beckman」5月19日 3時07分
