Somewhere near the top of my list is this dog, who my son and I fostered & then fell in love with. This boy came from @dove_project all the way from Korea where he was destined to become dog soup . He’s a real trauma dog, and I’m a real trauma survivor, so we are a great fit for each other. He was afraid of literally everyone and everything expect me and my son until the last 8 weeks .He brings me such joy,because every day I get to see how love truly does heal. And when I can’t see the growth in myself and I forget how far I’ve come , I can see it in him. We have no idea who the messengers are, or where the road signs of guidance will appear ... and as the world around me and my internal world have slowed down, I’m paying attention to the signs so much more than before this crisis hit ..
