Senjugahama is located on the west side of Lake Chuzenji in Oku Nikko.
In June, pink flowers of Japanese primrose bloom at Senjugahama, creating a very calm and secluded atmosphere.
The area with Senjugahama is a nature conservation area, so ordinary cars are not allowed in.
You can visit here by Lake Chuzenji Cruise (Limited service to Senjugahama) or by the Oku Nikko low-emission bus. With NIKKO PASS ALL AREA, you can also use Lake Chuzenji Cruise and low-emission buses at no additional charge. *To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Lake Chuzenji Cruise will only be available on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays until April 30 (Thu).
The Oku Nikko low-emission bus is temporarily suspended for the time being.
