These are the days when I feel like Sleeping Beauty existing in a kind of netherworld waiting for someone or something that announces it’s time to get up. It’s not in my nature to be so passive and I’m learning the value of patience. I’m forced to practice staying in the moment as so much is uncertain about how the world will be when I wake. I’ve learned in this time to let the day unfold around me, leading me not me leading it. This is probably good for me as I was never successful when taking tango and salsa lessons, I just could never let my partner lead.
