Time spent cannot be recovered, so best to give it to someone or something that makes us happy, truly matters, & adds value to our life. ⏳ _ • Looking inward is one of the most important steps toward finding your path in life, incl ur career&soulmate (esp in this era of distraction). It's about self-discovery & self-reflection that requires u to keep asking yourself questions about yourself—dig deep—and be brutally honest w/ the answers however weird or embarrassing they're. Being self-aware will give u a clearer perspective of ur values, what u actually want, or at least what u don't want, etc. That way it'll be easier to decide which ones to eliminate & which ones to focus on. 👀 _ • Your parents (& grandparents) are not going to be around forever. There are SO many things in life that we can't control. Instead of trying to control everything or thinking 'why me?' when things go south, learn when to surrender, to accept, to laugh at life & ur stupid mistakes. 🤡 _ • While it can be interesting philosophizing abt life's biggest questions (e.g. our purpose in life), sometimes we take it too far & get ourselves down (e.g. existential crisis). I've realized that there are actually no answers that apply to everyone. However, u can find answers that apply to yourself—and that's enough. Stop ruining ur life searching for the One Truth bc nobody knows the answer. Just enjoy life while it lasts. 💫 _ • Nothing is permanent.
