The effects of the #COVID19 pandemic affect us all. Especially in times like these, it is important for us at Daimler to fulfil our social responsibility. The most recent example of the "Daimler helps" initiative are plastic face shields. Our global 3D printing network is now producing plastic shields to provide a barrier to people’s faces. In Germany we want to distribute the face sign sets free of charge via the state government. Internationally, free distribution is made directly to systemically important facilities. With 2.000 face shields already produced, this is just the beginning.
