サラ・ライトさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サラ・ライトInstagram)「Thank you @thegracetales for such a thoughtful interview.. last year at a very different time in our world @georgieabay and her team traveled from Austrailia to my home to interview me about our @yourzenmama book. ..........................#repost While our lives are anything but normal right now, we’re trying to focus on the things that are bringing us joy. Sunshine – we’ve never appreciated glorious sunshine more. Walks with our family and feeling more present than we have in years. The lack of scheduling – there are no school activities to run to or children’s parties to go to. We’re free all the time, and it’s kind of wonderful. One thing we’re doing a lot more of is reading. This week LA-based actor and entrepreneur (she runs two businesses @yourzenmama and @baeobaby) @swrightolsen launches her book Zen Mamas, which she wrote with friend @teresapalmer. “We cover the joys of pregnancy and the grief of loss. We delve into our journeys of motherhood, and share some of the knowledge we have collected over the years from the Your Zen Mama community, from expert mentors, and through being in the trenches of parenthood ourselves. From prepping for pregnancy all the way through to birth, the first twelve weeks with your newborn, and figuring out the kind of parent you want to be long-term, we share our personal struggles, joyful moments and hard-won realisations,” says Sarah of the new book. She also shares some advice we thought we could all use right now: “We always feel we could be doing more, or feel guilty when we take any time for ourselves. I have to remind myself of this constantly. It is ok to take time for me, it recharges my batteries and makes me feel good inside and helps me to be a better mama across the board.” Back when we could travel, we photographed Sarah at home and have been saving this special story for her book launch.
