Some of you may not know but I did a decade of activism in sustainable fashion working with @joinourco and @fash_rev. I started an ethical jewellery label in 2006 and kept it going as a side project for many years. I made some malas not that long ago but once I got going with @thefutureisbeautiful podcast, the jewellery faded into the background. When I was starting out I was in admiration of a brand called Bex Rox @bexroxartisans which I had noticed at a trade fair I was exhibiting at. Fast forward to this year and I met Bex in Bali. I showed her my ring, as I have been wearing this garnet for a few years now as vastu - meaning it was recommended by my astrologer @anand_vedicvalley. I found the stone in Varanasi and had it set into a simple ring. It was time to give the ring some new energy as the planet had moved from its position in my sun, to its position in my moon. I am wearing this stone on this finger for another two years. When I showed it to Bex, she took my old ring which you can see in the first photo where I am wearing a dress by another sustainable brand @supernaturae made by artisans. Bex has created something bold, beautiful and powerful made by artisans in Bali. I absolutely love it. There is such power to jewellery as talisman. You can also see in the photos my bracelet from @anandasoulcreations which is also hand made in Bali and about trusting the flow of life.
