RCサクセション 9 thアルバム “ OK ” ( 1983年 )が妙に聴きたくなる！当時高校生(16歳／岡山)だった僕は、忌野清志郎の髪型に憧れ、ジェル (当時はDEPスーパーハード ) で髪を立ていた。
大好きな代表曲 “ oh! Baby ” の切ない歌詞は、当時ギンギンだった清志郎の創り出したフィクションだと勝手に解釈していた。
いつもの清志郎らしくリラックスして歌っているように聴こえるこのアルバムだが、制作中、彼は最悪の状態だった事を後に知った。この事を知って改めて聞くと、ロックスターであっても人間なんだと、いつもの10倍ぐらい音が心に響いた。
最高傑作のジャケットデザインは井上嗣也。因みに僕は今でも髪を立てている。

I suddenly wanted to listen to RC Succession’s 9th album "OK" (1983)! At that time, I was a high school student (16 years old living in Okayama), and I wanted to have the same hairstyle like him. So, I made my hair spiky with gel ( back then, I used DEP. )
I love their representative song “ oh! Baby”. Back then, I imagined its painful lyrics is complete fiction created by the vocalist Kiyoshiro because he was on a roll.
In this album, Kiyoshiro sounded relaxed as usual. But I later learned that he was in the worst condition during the production. As I listen to this album after I learned this fact, his sound resonated with me 10 times more, knowing even a rock star was a human being, just like us.
The jacket design is the masterpiece, designed by Tsuguya Inoue.
By the way, I still make my hair spiky.
