In 2013, a few years before launching the brand, Max began to experience the negative effects of burnout while working in the high-paced environment of Yves Saint Laurent. In search of a solution, Max turned toward the practice of meditation, which unbeknownst to him, helped set the foundation for District Vision as a brand that stands at the intersection of running and mindfulness.⁣ ⁣
