Alex made a mold of this coin, and added his own flourish by embedding it into a square signet design and carving the beautiful Ionic detailing on the side. On the inside of this ring, the back of the coin depicting the image of Zeus holding an eagle and a staff is still recognizable. We now look to Alexander the Great for inspiration & hope in a new era of uncertainty. Alexander was a fearless leader who maintained remarkable poise when all hung in the balance. He united people of all nations and prized above all the quest for knowledge, science and understanding. If we cannot look to our own leaders for such qualities, may we find them in ourselves and each other.
