It was way too small so I had it re-tailored a little. That is the great thing about kimono!! No fabric is cut off during kimono tailoring - excess fabric is always being hidden in the inside seams so the kimono can be re-sewn and fitted for the next generation 😍👌🏻 (However people in the past sometimes did not keep extra fabric for length - so this kimono is still rather short 😆) Another point is that the fabric bolts used to be more narrow a hundred years ago than they are now, so even extended to the maximum, the kimono sizing still is not a perfect fit for me! 😝 But better than before haha so I’ll make do with it 💕 I wear too small kimono all the time because they are too cute not to be worn! Oh and this was another Edo inspired relaxed Kitsuke day with almost no ties.
