Beginning Tuesday, all New York City restaurants and bars will be closed, with the exception of delivery service. This follows Friday’s announcements that some of Manhattan’s most well known dining institutions like Le Bernadin, Gramercy Tavern, Daniel, and Union Square Cafe would close immediately. Chicago and Boston have also instituted similar mandates, effective until the end of the month, while California is closing all bars and wineries and telling anyone over the age of 65 to stay at home. Movie theaters in New York City and Los Angeles are also closing.
