アリッサウーテンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アリッサウーテンInstagram)「As some of you may know, I own @reveriehawaiibyaw a handmade jewelry line that I started back in 06~07, to raise funds to get myself to NSSA Nationals at Lowers! I was competing in the NSSA contests locally but never thought I’d qualify my first year to Nationals! Unprepared, surprised, and excited, I brainstormed what I was going to do. @keliamoniz actually was like you’re really creative just make something and sell it! She gave me some beads she had lying around and I went to work! I made some really funky earrings, and at the time I was taking wood shop in school so I made a bunch of wooden frames to display my stuff, put all that in a box, and took it to the beach with me and ask all my friends parents, Aunties and Uncles we call them here in Hawaii, to buy them! And to my surprise everyone was more then supportive, I made enough to go and pay for all my entity fees! I kept making jewelry to help me pay for whatever I needed during those years, and I still make jewelry as my side hustle till this day. I hope to one day have a functioning website, but I feel like I have a lot on my plate right now, and so I will keep it small, and manageable for myself for now. Just wanted to share a little bit about myself and how @reveriehawaiibyaw started. Reverie means to be lost in a day dream and derived from French. I also learned that word in school haha. Never forget my roots! 知っているかたもいると思うんですが、アリッサは2006年から @reveriehawaiibyaw というジュエリーブランドをやっています！NSSA Nationals at Lowers（サーフィンの大会）に出場するための資金集めのために始めたのがきっかけでした。それまではNSSAのハワイ大会には出場していたんだけど、大会にで始めて1年目で全国大会に出れるとは思ってませんでした。全国大会出場が決まって、驚いたし、すごくエキサイティングだったけど、準備が整っていないなかどうやって資金を集めようかと考えていた時、@keliamoniz が、アリッサはクリエイティブだから何か作って売ったらいいじゃない！って言ってくれたの。ケリアは私に彼女が持っていたビーズを分けてくれて、そのビーズでイヤリングを作り始めたの。その時ちょうど学校で木工のクラスを取っていたから、そのイヤリングをディスプレイできるジュエリー用のフレームを作って、箱にたくさんいれてビーチに行くたびに友達のお父さんお母さん、アンティーやアンクル（ハワイでは年上の人たちをそう呼ぶの）に買って！ってサポートをお願いしたの。驚いたことに予想を超えるサポートをもらえて、無事に大会に出場するための資金を稼ぐことができました。それ以来ジュエリーは私のサイドハッスル（副業）になりました。いつの日かちゃんとしたウェブサイトを作りたいんだけど、今は色々忙しくて難しいので、できる範囲内で作って販売しています。でも改めて、ちゃんと自分のこと、私のブランド」3月14日 11時55分
