I hope we’re all finding peace in these isolating times ❣️ I’m in my self care feels today. Tried to go for a run which lasted, I kid you not, no longer than 8 minutes. It’s not always just yoga, water, friends and vitamins. Sometimes it’s locking yourself away and looking in the mirror and forcing yourself to say 10 nice things, or writing a list of achievements to be proud of, or a love letter to your self, your brain, your heart, your gut whatever. Sometimes it’s doing self love meditation exercises where you repeat silly words and hug yourself at the end. Its crying about your faults and weaknesses and forgiving yourself for them anyway. It’s writing positive affirmations and sticking them on your mirror. Self love isn’t always about pampering yourself (though there’s a lot of that too). It’s about forgiving yourself and learning to genuinely like, respect and admire who you are. Get back in touch with your inner child and your intuition. Sometimes it’s really hard and there’s so many distractions and other priorities, but in the long run, it’s impossible to ignore. If you’re in it, keep going. Stay safe. Peace n love always ❤️xx
