Everybody is different and every training style is different. What works for your body /personality might not necessarily work for someone else. This is why when it comes to LISS in the @SWEAT app you can choose what works for you - select from either walking, running, cycling or ‘other’. Any form of exercise that you can maintain at a steady pace without stopping can count as your LISS session! I even had a lady tell me that it was so cold where she lives that she just did laps of her hallway for half an hour while she watched Netflix on her phone, and she said it worked perfectly for her! I mean yes, it’s amazing to be able to get outside for some fresh air, but for lots of us, especially #BBGmums, this isn’t possible. I get up in the morning to walk on the treadmill in my pyjamas because that’s what works for me and my body and my schedule. So however you can get exercise in is fine, whatever works for you.⁣

For the ladies who choose to RUN for their LISS sessions, just try to maintain constant slow jog so your heart rate doesn’t get too high, remember LISS = low intensity - steady state. ⁣
