世界的なデザインユニット、ブルレック兄弟の棚とデスクを拝見しに、パリのアトリエを訪ねた。「素材の可視化」を大事にするだけあって、引き出しはなく道具類はデスクに乱雑に置いてあって、棚には試作品やペンがポンッと。「棚板はステージで、そこに置くものはいわば役者」とは弟・エルワンの一言。

We got to see Bouroullec brothers’ shelves and desks in Paris where they have their atelier. As they emphasize the visualization of material, there aren’t any drawer to be seen, and samples and staples are left on the shelf. As Erwin describes, “shelf board is the stage and what’s on the shelf are the actors”.
