I’m at the Oscars.” In December, De’Andre was suspended from his Texas high school for wearing dreadlocks. He was invited to the #oscars by the former NBA player Dwyane Wade and his wife, the actress Gabrielle Union, who were producers of the animated short film “Hair Love,” which took home an Oscar tonight.
