He held up more than his end. He helped props as best as was available in authenticating everything from uniforms, to medical equipment, and gear. He rewrote a scene to authenticate the lingo my character would say. He reworked scenarios with our director to show the world what it truly means to serve. All that while knowing he wont get any credit for it. He showed up early and left late. He is the definition of a gentleman and a hardworking individual. Aside from this, I've seen him all of 2 or 3 times in the last 9 years. He has been in and out of different countries and states on deployment fulfilling his service. I respect every single man and woman who has the courage to enlist and risk their lives in the name of our country and those they fight side by side with. The one opinion I will be very vocal about is how we treat our veterans. Currently my cousin faces financial struggles and has been turned down from job after job (sometimes very disrespectfully). He has a wife and foster child he must provide for. He recently called me and said because of the lack of job opportunities, he is going to deploy again (once again sacrificing his life for others).
