When it comes to hunting, #wildDogs are among the most prodigious with a success rate of roughly 80%. They’re highly intelligent, adaptable and strategic while chasing down prey, working tightly as a team. They can cover distances of over 50 miles in a day searching for prey and are also among the few predatory pack hunters that tend to their injured and elderly, bringing them food even when they can’t actively hunt. They’re without a doubt among my favorite of African animals. Apologies if these images are graphic, from my eye however this is a genuine look at a day in the life of this extraordinary animal and a balanced ecosystem.
