I started the CD company 15 years ago in my lounge, cutting patterns on a makeshift table and sewing mock–ups on my domestic sewing machine… at the time I was living in London. To be honest I didn’t have some grand plan of global expansion, but rather, allowed the flow of life to move through me with each step of the way. We are now an all-woman (seriously amazing women) company across 3 continents bringing the brands vision to life and creating dream dresses for our brides for one of the most important days of their lives, and that feels super special. It’s not been easy... at times I couldn’t see the way, at times I felt lost and afraid that I was leading the team the wrong way, but finally I will say that it’s been so worth it, because life has given me the opportunity to grow and expand into a more evolved version of my previous self, and that feels meaningful… How can you embrace the opportunities that life gives you to expand into your potential, and fullest self-expression?
