I was saddened to learn of the passing of Todd Irvin, a good friend who I was lucky to photograph for many years. For his 1980 GQ cover, I paired him with Barbara Neumann, a fearless windsurfer who went on to become a beloved model agent. After years in the industry, Todd became a psychologist, setting up a marriage and family therapy practice in Santa Monica. He was a kind and generous man who will be remembered and loved by so many.
