Pier People: Two Pierspectives, Two Images.
The ebb and flow of this place still gets me as I crest the hill at Highland to start the walk down. I’ve lived here more than half my life and still get excited to see what each visit brings.
The Pier connects our town and the people in it to the ocean, physically and spiritually. It’s a meeting place, a place to surf, fish, daydream or take photos.
#PierPressure started as a fun hashtag. Over the last 8+ years documenting this pier has helped sharpen my eye, develop as an artist and become a home base to recharge my soul.
